Over the last few years, we have diversified into businesses such as transmission and advanced metering, that will support the energy transition by supply of green and clean energy. Our ambition is to be a partner in India’s mission to become a net zero nation while contributing to conserving resources. It brings me great pride to share that Apraava Energy stands among the few pioneering firms in the energy sector in India to join the esteemed Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), underscoring our unwavering dedication to emission reduction. Director - Business Development and Commercial

Over the last two decades, while continuing to partner India in its energy transition journey, we have successfully forayed into different businesses in the energy value chain. While renewable energy remains a priority, we have focused on expanding into non-generation businesses such as transmission and advanced metering infrastructure. The acquisition of two greenfield transmission assets in FY 2022-23 has further strengthened Apraava’s transmission business by increasing its footprint across five states within the country.

Samir Ashta

Director - Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Our aspiration of becoming a clean energy player that is able to contribute significantly to India and the world’s green energy needs has accelerated over the past decade. This unwavering focus on building a conscious business has been possible by seamlessly integrating an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) rubric to map our progress. In an independent evaluation by S&P Global, Apraava Energy has received a 47 on 100 ESG rating. The ESG framework will continue to be our guiding light as we aggressively pursue healthy growth, through a cleaner and greener portfolio.

In FY 2022-23, we achieved a significant milestone by securing two Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects, which involve the installation of over three million meters. We are committed to operating at the highest standards of both operational excellence and employee safety at all times. Sustainability is at the centre of all the decisions we make about our future business growth. We aim for holistic and sustainable growth while contributing to conserving the planet’s biodiversity and resources.
